Hayes Garden Centre joined the British Garden Centres Family in 2025. Previously known as Hayes Garden World, it has a wealth of history as it has been trading on the same site for over 200 years. Hayes Garden Centre is situated at Ambleside, in the UNESCO World Heritage status English Lake District. Gardener’s Retreat Restaurant at Hayes Garden Centre

Sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious meal in beautiful surroundings. We serve breakfast, lunches, and daily specials. Breakfast is served from 9.00am until 11.00am, and mains are served from 11:30am until 30 minutes before centre closing time. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
